Pratt Institute - Fall 2024 - Image as Communication
For this project, I created a graphic novel starting with a brief narrative to capture a memorable event. My inspiration was from a real-life road trip to upstate New York for a birthday hike, which I then transformed into a whacky, science-fiction story. In this adventure, the characters discover a mysterious button in their car that whisks them away to different universes.
I aimed to keep the story concise while still making it feel complete. Each universe is explored on its page, showcasing plot developments. The characters reach the second universe, understanding their situation. In the third universe, they find themselves debating whether to stay, while in the fourth, they realize they need to return home. Ultimately, by the fifth universe, they realize that they must go back, wrapping up the story on the final page.
