I designed a CD box set for three albums by the band, Stereolab, inspired by the dynamic and experimental nature of their electronic- indie-pop sound. To unify the albums, I simplified the original artwork into basic linework to the original album art, creating consistency across the set while distinguishing each album with its color. The linework was designed to evoke a sense of movement, reflecting the lively energy of their music.
In addition to the CDs, I designed a booklet featuring the tracklists, color-coded to match each album, as well as the overall packaging design. The cover incorporates hand-drawn typography paired with an illustration of a kaleidoscope breaking apart, spilling bright, dynamic colors to emphasize motion and vibrancy. This project allowed me to merge visual design with musical interpretation, crafting an engaging representation of Stereolabā€™s experimental sound.
